2 women held for ‘ganja trafficking’

The City Task Force personnel on Monday arrested two women for their alleged involvement in ganja transportation and the team also seized 49 kg of dry ganja, ₹10,000 in cash and two mobile phones from them at Marripalem in Vizag city.

The arrested were identified as Debika Barik (34), a native of Odisha and Suvvada Tulasi (27), resident of Marripalem, in the city. The Airport police registered a case under Section 20 (B) of NDPS Act and investigation is on to nab a few others in connection with the case.
