The Forum for Development of North Andhra (FDNA) has condemned the statement of Union Minister of State for Railways Rajen Gohain that the feasibility report on the railway zone with Visakhapatnam as headquarters was yet to be received by the government. In a statement, FDNA general secretary Aja Sarma said that this was nothing but doing injustice to the State and watering down the AP Reorganisation Act, 2014. He recalled that the NDA government had formed eight new railway zones in 2002-03 but the feasibility report was not sought for any of them.
