After a hiatus of about two years, the much sought after Pro Kabaddi League (PKL-2018) is back to the City of Destiny, thanks to the election code in Telangana. Vizag will be the home venue for the Telugu Titans, which has a huge fan-following in the city.

It may be recalled that Vizag city was the second home venue of Telugu Titans in 2014 and in 2016.

As per the new PKL-2018 schedule, the Port Indoor Stadium will host 11 matches, including six of Telugu Titans from December 7 to 13. In 2014, the Telugu Titans scored a hat-trick by winning three back-to-back matches and fans are hoping that the feat will be repeated, says Rajeev, a fan of Telugu Titan.

According to J. Trinath Reddy, manager of Telugu Titans, this edition the team looks a lot tougher and meaner.  This year we have chosen good players and Titans is the combination of good raiders and defenders, including three players from Iran,  he says.

Vishal Bhardwaj will lead the team and he will be supported by star raider Rahul Choudhary. The team also has two players from the Telugu-speaking states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana -- Manoj from Vijayawada and Mahender Reddy from Telangana.

So it is time for the Kabaddi lovers to get ready to cheer their favourite teams.
