Andhra University Vice-Chancellor G. Nageswara Rao on Friday said that steps would be taken to increase the seats in Andhra University Engineering Colleges.

At the Board of Studies meeting, he said the infrastructure and buildings of the colleges should be readied accordingly.

The V-C said already additional buildings were constructed for the Civil and Computer Departments of the university.

The V-C instructed the officials concerned to ready the proposals for increasing the seats and suggested them to introduce them in the ensuing academic senate meeting.

Also, he stated that the university is going to seek ISO certification and directed the officials to maintain records for the same.
